Coalfields Regeneration Trust is the UK's leading charity focusing on former coal mining communities across England, Scotland and Wales. Their purpose is to help regenerate and breathe life into these communities.
They approached us in 2023 requiring a new website that is robust, fast and can handle all the functionality they need to make the support they offer more accessible. They had programmes, hubs, jobs, blog articles and more that needed to be organised and easy to navigate.
Our team thrives when working with new sectors and embracing new challenges; this project was no exception. From the initial concept stage to building the website, it was a rewarding experience. We learned a lot working on this and finding new methods to accomplish the goals set out by their team.
We created a responsive, easy-to-manage website to meet the requirements of the initial brief. With the help of their team, we implemented improvements to the structure when we came across it to improve the experience for visitors.
Coalfields Regeneration Trust also approached us to design their five-year strategy document. This project was an exciting opportunity that involved creating various bespoke and eye-catching graphics. We developed creative ways to incorporate their brand into a striking design that showcases what they do and their future direction.
This build ended up being one of the most significant projects we tackled as a team, not just the number of pages created, but the functionality behind the website and the relationships between sections. The project provided new hurdles at every stage, which brought out some of our best collaboration work.
